Debbie and I had dinner with Peggy and Mike at Mourad on our anniversary.
As you enter, to the right is a long L-shaped bar that seats 10 folks on the long side and four folks on the foot. There is a tabletop and several long shelves covered with wines and other alcohols that form the back of the bar. The back wall itself is a series of waist to ceiling windows that face the outside. Julia and Stan, Peggy and Mike and Debbie and I went to the North Beach Restaurant on the last night of our Menlo Park/San Francisco visit. Debbie and I were going to be in St. Louis for a family event. We knew from our neighbors, Jamie and Bob, that their son Gerard Ford Craft had opened four acclaimed restaurants in St. Louis and environs, so we asked them for a suggestion.

Debbie and I went to Et Voila with William, Susan and David for an early dinner.

The Sandhill is a 121-room hotel with guest rooms in a series of cottages, most of which hold 4 guest rooms. The cottages and the main part of the hotel include public areas, large and small event spaces, a classic bar and a restaurant surrounding a large swimming pool. Carol, Diane, Sherry, Michael, Debbie and I went to the Dabney on a Wednesday night.
The restaurant seats 75-80 people plus the bar. There is an outside area that seems to seat about a dozen, weather permitting, which was not the case the night we were there. )
