Recently a WW reader sent me a note asking what cooked food I would order for pure enjoyment. The answer is easy – Fried Calamari. It is sometimes called Crispy Calamari Fritti (The Palm); Fried Calamari (Old Anglers Inn); Pan Fried Calamari (Capital Grille – Chevy Chase) Calamari Fritti (I Ricchi); Cornmeal crusted Calamarie (Matisse).
1310 Kitchen & Bar also offers Grilled Calamari – however that is not the same as various “meal covered calamari before cooking”.
