On January 28, 2018, Gallup found that 38% of Americans approve of President Trump’s job performance and 58% disapprove.

Beginning in 2018 Gallup is no longer providing a daily approval rating of the president. In the future, these reports will be dated weekly.

Trump’s 39% approval rating is the lowest in the history of the NBC/WSJ poll (1/17) for any “modern president ending his first year.” His disapproval rating is 57% with 51% who strongly disapprove.
